Projects are scoped clearly and delivered with regular communication. We’re a small studio, which means the people you speak to at the start are the people doing the work.

We develop products from concept through to manufacture-ready design. We validate, produce photorealistic CGIs that gives clients a complete marketing asset before a single sample exists. We review designs for manufacturability and flag problems before they cost money to fix.
Some clients come to us at the very beginning of a project, with nothing more than a problem to solve. Others arrive with existing CAD that needs engineering analysis, or a product that’s visually resolved but not yet manufacturable. We work across all of those entry points.

The gap between the two is where products get expensive to build, difficult to manufacture, and compromised in performance.
At MAKE we sit at that intersection deliberately. Our studio combines industrial design, 3D CAD, FEA, DFM, and CGI visualisation under one roof. That means the aesthetic decisions and the structural decisions are made together, by people who understand both.
The result is products that look right, perform, and are genuinely manufacturable at the target cost. It sounds straightforward. In practice it’s rare.

Birmingham sits at the centre of UK manufacturing. That’s not an accident for us — it means we have close working relationships with precision metal fabricators, injection moulding toolmakers, surface finishers, CNC machinists, and rapid prototyping specialists built up over years of live project work.
When a project needs a supplier, we can move quickly.
We work with clients across the UK and internationally, operating primarily as a remote studio with on-site presence where projects require it. Our client list includes Honeywell, DHL, Zebra, Waitrose, PodLoc and Royal Mail Group — and we bring the same rigour to every project, regardless of scale.
Good design and sound engineering shouldn't be hard to find in the same place.
